Macro ID Help?

I was given a small piece of this algae a few months back. I put it in my display and it's really taking off. Can anyone tell me what it is?

I am not a phycologist, but it looks like a Gracilaria (or similar) species.

graciliaria. Great tang food.

If you don't have tangs, you should be very careful in putting macroalgaes in your display. Some can become downright invasive, depending on what you want the tank to look like, and can be near impossible to eliminate.
