Anyone want to take a shot at this?
The texture is very stiff, not at all like hair algae. It doesn't wave in the current, and as you can see in the closeups, grows from a single point.
Happy to shoot more pics or give more details. It's all over my top rocks, powerheads, overflow and even the glass.
I've been fighting it for a couple of months, and it's slowly receding, but I'm hoping if I can ID it, I can fight it better.
