Macroalgae Chateo Question?

I received some Macro Algae from a Seller on Ebay.. Can someone help and let me know if this looks ok to put in my refuge? If I remember correctly it's suppose to be stringy and a bit fluffy not soggy looking. See attachment and let me know your thoughts?

That looks like kale. Does it taste like kale?

No idea what macro that's supposed to be. Got a shot of it in water?

From pic hard to tale but does not look like cheto to me but could be need a better pic.

Oh, chaeto's in the title... well that looks like super dead chaeto to me then. The brighter green parts look like they might be okay. It should be stringy, somewhat rubbery, springy, and definitely not soggy.

firm, stringy, interwined, not matted, and bright green not pallid. looks dead. pick out the parts that look alive and give it lots of light and good flow
