Macroalgae & Marine Ich

I just read that it's possible to get marine ich from macroalgae. I put Red Grape Macroalgae in display tank 8pm last night. The red grape was rinsed in saltwater, ro/di (for 5 min) before putting it in the display.

Should I remove the macro to a quarantine?

Its been less than 24 hrs, if it has ich on the surface or pests, is it too late?

Just keep in the display ....

30 gal fish only. 2 fish, 2 reef scarlett hermits ,various snails. 0 Ammonia, Nitrites. 5ppm Nitrates. 1.024 SA. 79F

ich exists in 1 drop of water. cysts can exist on anything. i would qt it.

Is the quarantine time 72 days? (I believe this is the time to quarantine for fish..)
