Macrodactyla doreensis, LTA anemone

Up until this morning i had a Macrodactyla doreensis: LTA anemone and a caribbean rock sea urchin who have been tank mates for well over two years. Unfortunatley I found the urchin's stripped carcass with all spines laying in a pile right next to the LTA. Is it common for LTA's to eat urchins?? as this is what appears to have happened. Note that the urchin was foraging about the night before, and the following morning looked like a roadside seashell stand skeleton resting at the base of the LTA. Also the LTA looks fine, could it encounter any ill effects from consuming the urchin.

Thanks

I don't know if it's common. I had one that occasionally would eat a turbo snail. I wouldn't worry about the LTA becoming ill from the urchin. It was probably just a tasty, fresh meal as far as the anemone is concerned.
