MAG 2/3 For Sale

Hi all!

I was able to grab a magnetic stirrer off of ebay for my kalk reactor, so I can put this poor Mag 2/3 to some other use... or rather, you can.

Its not running 100% right now, but I think all it needs is a new impeller. What is sad is that I have a new impeller for it, I just need to find it.

I'll look for it tonight and see if I can find it and test it again to make sure it works well. If it does, $20 OBO takes it.

Is it a 2 or a 3? Or, what is the gph?

Sorry guys, I should have been more clear.

It is a 2. But, my understanding is that you can actually put the impeller from a mag 3 in it and its a 3. They're the same pump and its the impeller that makes the difference. However, I'm not 100% sure of that and as-is, its a stock 2 which means 250GPH.

I did find the impeller, so I'm in the process of taking my kalk reactor offline (IE, draining it ) and checking it out.

Sweet! I put the new impeller in and it fired right up. No chattering or anything (which is what it was doing with the old impeller).

First one with $20 takes it! :lol:

Wow... to be honest, I kind of wish I had just found the impeller (it was buried in my entertainment center ) instead of buying the magnetic stirrer to begin with! This thing is a whole new pump... I may just keep it. :lol:

EDIT: FWIW, I've got a buyer and a backup buyer I think. I will let everyone know if something falls through.
