A MAG24 is 265 watts of heat being added to your water if you run it internally and the MAG36 is 360watts! You will have to invest in a chiller to offset the pump
If you have any head pressure do not buy the sequence snapper I just got one hooked it up and all I get is literaly a dribble in the tank. I had a mag 7 on it before and I got about 200 gallons an hour so I thought with the 2400gph on the snapper that with the head pressure I have it would have to be better then the mag 7 but it is not.
How much head pressure are you working with here and what flow rate (in GPH) do you actually want to achieve?
The Mak4 says it is not even 1200gph.
Also look at the wattage you will be using. Some of the Iwaki pumps use over 300w. It wouldn't take long to lose any cost savings on a cheap pump if you are using double the electricity.
