How do you clean Mag 3 pumps? Mine on my Remora Pro has been making noise like never before. The directions say that the impeller is removable and cleanable. But, I don't know how to find and get to the impeller. Can anyone help?

Take out the 4 phillips screws and take off the pump cover. the impeller is inside.

I toss mine in a salt bucket that has 1 gallon muriatic acid from a pool supply and then filled the rest of the way with water. Add the acid to the water btw. Let it run for about 1/2 hour then have another bucket with just water and put it in there to run about 1/2 hour too. Works great. Same thing I do for all my powerheads. Watch the fumes. You can even do a 50/50 mix. Some do straight muriatic acid but I don't.

I do the same thing but using 100% pure white vinegar, let it running over night, less agressive same result.
Alternatively you can disasemble the pump and leave the parts soaking in vinegar overnight , brush them off or use a fiber scrubb to clean them then rinse well with tap water and re-assemble. Use less vinegar this way.
