I have a Mag 7 w/ broken shaft. I have Mag 3 w/ good shaft.
I put together a closed loop and used the Mag 3 impeller/shaft in the Mag 7. everything looked the same. length,etc.
Turned it on and it barely puts out any flow.
Whats going on?
Mag3/5/7 are all the same pump. The different flow rates are derived from the impeller and front pump cover combo. A mag7 with a mag3/5 impeller is now a mag5.
