im looking for a used mag 5, mag 7 or similar internal pump for my sump.

consider opening your search to include QuiteOne pumps. I have a few of the new ones and like them. they have barb ends with them that you can just twist off (plastic with an o-ring) - makes cleaning easy. Run well externally also.

looking here the 2200 is about a mag5
and the 3000 about a mag7
