MAG & DOW Flake Question

Does anyone here in Tampa Bay use either or both MAG Flake & DOW Flake (Randy's Recipes)?

If so, where do you buy it?

I think there are quite a few of us that do. Both Dow flake and Mag flake can be purchased through Chem-Stat here in Tampa (Hillsborough Ave / Anderson Rd area) Phone # is 813-870-2436 (Ask for Tim). The last time I bought Dow flake there it was $25 for 50 lbs (lasts a LONG time)

It is my understanding Pinch A Penny pool supply stores also carry Dow flake, but I don't know if they carry Mag flake or not.

By the way....I have used Randy's 2 part for a couple of years, I think it's great.

Dow Flake 77-80% Calcium Chloride

Magnesium chloride hexahydrate made by the Dead Sea Works is sold at many home stores, including Home Depot, often labeled as MAG Flake

I got the dow flake from Pinch a penny on 19 just south of Tampa road (guess thats palm harbor)
