mag drive question

I have a question about my new mag drive 9.5

I just installed it yesterday as my in sump return pump and it is creating micro bubbles coming out in the tank is there any kind of break in period

will this go away??

I doubt its the pump, there has to be a leak somewhere in the plumbing allowing an air intake. Check all your connections and youll probably find the culprit.

not always. some times if you have a pinhole hole in the line, the water goes by it causeing a vacum, in turn sucking air. but more than likely the pump has some air trapped inside.

The return? I was thinking more like the input drawing in air through a plumbing leak.. Try running the pump on its own in a bucket of water and see if theres still bubbles.

Is the a skimmer in the sump? The skimmer may be producing microbubbles which are making their way through the return pump to the display tank.

there is a skimmer in the sump but they are not coming from that I shut everything else off in the tank to see where they are coming from

if there is air trapped in the pump how do you get it out?

here is a pic of the sump
