It has been quite a while since I had to make up a batch of the Mag portion of the two part dosing system. When I looked up the recipe it is only saying to use 8 cups of epson salts. Just trying to make sure that we do not use mag flake from Buckeye field supply? I am asking because I ordered it 2 months ago and was getting ready to mix it up when I read the recipe?

There are several recipes around. Recipes using MAG flake are improved versions of those using Epsom salts alone.
If this is a stand alone magnesium supplement, and not part of a two part system, then the ratio is 10:1 for Mag Flake to Epsom.
