I've started actually looking at the different icemelters out there (starting to be stocked) for use in Randy's 2 part recipe

No problem finding the baking soda and anhydrous calcium chlorided (Prestone Driveway Heat)--

Home depot has 50 pounds bags--
Lowes has 9.5 pound jugs--

But haven't found any Mag flakes yet-- however Home Depot did have 50 pound bags of this stuff called "Freeze Guard"-- this stuff is Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate (just like the mag flakes) but is packaged by a company called North American Salt-- there was no price next to the stuff I found (there was an entire pallet of the stuff)... however, Dr Holmes-Farley will likely not recommend this stuff since he has not verified its purity....

So has anyone seen any of these bags around??

according to its MSDS-- 60 to 100% magnesium chloride hexahydrate.... its what might be in there that might cause issues...

If it safe for pets then we can sue if it harms our fish, right??
