to anyone using IO reef crystals. what are you getting are as mag. levels without any additives???

test the mag in a mixture of make up water.this will give you an idea as to how much mag you are missing when doing water changes.Mag doesn't drop as fast as calcium or alk.You should leave your levels at 1350 ppm

Is 1350 the Magnesium level when Reef Crystals is mixed to 1.025-1.026?? I have to dose the heck out of IO to get it above 1300. And I mean it takes a ton of ESV-Magnesium to get to that level.(Not to mention raising the calcium to the tanks level before water changes). I have found that a Magnesium level above 1300 means "instant" Coraline growth.
