Magnetic Holder for 1.25" acrylic

my tank is 1 inch and i use the magnets but for 6000's

i think you can route a indent like i said above on the back outside so not sure where the waste is.

my tank is 1" thick, completely braceless / trimless

I wish there were magnets strong enough for 1" thick.

Can you use a router to grind a divet for the magnet? I may do this, but what a waste if you decide to go with some other application, or want to move it =(

show us - because i do not understand your just as complicated solution and your solution does not offer pointing up or down as far as I can tell

you guys are making this to complicated.

with most acrylic tanks you have a lip/euro bracing. All you need to do is, drill a 1/4 hole thru the bracing and get yourself some pvc or nylon bolts with nuts and washers.

They will slip thru the bracing and rite thru the top of the tunze's mount, then add threaded nut to secure them, you can aim them left to right now and not worry about them coming loose.
