What magnetic stirer and dosing pump do you recommend for setting up a automatic feeding system for a nps tank

I know a few people use BRS dosing pumps and I just bought two for the feeder I am building. Plus they are not too expensive.

The last time I searched Hanna seemed to have the cheapest magnetic stirrers. There are some fairly cheap used Thermolyne, but new looks like about $275. With used... what was it used for? Pesticides? Drug lab? Or something that couldn't harm a reef tank?(or me!)
Hanna new on amazon is about $80.
I am looking for the same thing the original poster is looking for, but it's been years since I've been in a lab and I've never purchased a stirrer before.

I just wish they offered packages with a narrow neck flask and a rubber stopper with a hole in it. PITA to try to figure out a matching set of all three, but I think I have it put together right in my cart.

For the electrical section of the stirrer I wouldnt worry much what it was used for in the past. Now the glass ware and the stirrer that is going in it, that has to be new...no choice there.

I just got two new ones from amazon, the hanna mini stirrer for 75$ each. I got two 500ml flasks, two two hole stoppers and two glass tubes for the flasks for less than 20$ shipped from http://www.hometrainingtools.com/

Pardon my ignorance, but is there a reason why food can't be dripped in from a container with an airline as opposed to using stirrers and pumps? I'm considering starting a NPS tank and want to know what equipment is a "must have" in order to be successful.

You need a fridge to slow the rate at which the food spoils.

A fridge/freezer I have for fish food, phyto, etc.
Would the NPS food mix do okay if dripped into the tank over a period of 10 hours or so? I figure I could switch containers once so there'd be a steady supply of food for most of the day.

It wouldn't stay mixed. All the solid stuff settles to the bottom and would either clog the tube or, you would dose all the solids in the first part of the day, and then only dose the green water the rest of the day.
Also, how would you slow the drip? If its a valve, that will most definitely get clogged.
