Magnets corroding in Innovative Marine Feeders

Hi guys, is anyone else experiencing the magnets on the Innovative Marine feeds expanding due to corrosion? is this normal?

Yeap, noticed the same problem years ago and stopped using the magnet. I was able to piece it together to work with another piece of plastic that hangs off the lip of the aquarium.

Looks like innovative marine uses some cheap epoxy that doesn't last.

I had the same problem with my seaweed feeder from Innovative Marine.
