Magus Curve A5 Skimmer

So thx to a cpl suggestions on solving an initial pump issue it is up and running... I had to add some water in my sump to get it up to within the recommended level and off it went... it's kind of going nutts and filling the collection cup right within a few minutes... I took the plug out of the drain tube and I'm just leaving it run at the moment...

Is this "new Skimmer break in" I cant seem to slow the filling of the cup...

With the flow resticter pulled out of the skimmer body, does it still overflow. How deep do you have the skimmer?

Mine took about a day or two before it started working normal. I have mine in 10" of water and set at just above the #1 mark.

Im in about 7 1/4" of water...which is within their recommendation. .. the other I have not tried
