Maine/ NJ?

Hey,
I'm currently undergoing certification through NAUI in Rye, NH.
I go to school in Maine, and am finishing my senior year.
Anyone know of any good places for snorkeling/scuba in Maine?

I just did a minor questionnaire on my campus and there are at least 20 folks on a 500 student campus that are certified or will be by May.
Of course only 5 of those folks have any gear to speak of (they vary in certs from rescue to adv open, to divemaster).


Also, I'm going to hopefully be moving for a job in NJ, the Newark area.
Any good places there?

I like to dive around the Isle of Shoals, right on the NH/Maine border. I've had some wonderful interactions with seals there. Of course, I prefer visiting the tropics...
