maited pair clowns for sale or trade

i have a maited pair of tomato clowns i have had for almost a year and a half. looking to get 50 bucks. or some coral. what do you have? no sps please.

What's the size on those clowns? If they are over 5" or so, I may be interested.

the fem is about about six and the male is about 4 i would say

they are being mean to my copperband. i just bought a fish trap so as soon as some one wants them ill start traping them

about three weeks ago. and they are still after it. ill take anything at this point. i would even deliver if it was within reason!

I know the 6" one would be ok, but 4" is going to be just too small. I just tried a Maroon Clown that was just about 4" and it didn't even make it through the night! That damn Angler will eat anything that's not 100% mean, or super fast!

yah sorry the male is always smaller then the female. but i might like to watch him to be eatin though

Yeah, clowns can be difficult after they are matured and paired. I just added two fish, one jumped, and I quickly bought another so that it would "spread out" the wrath of the ocellaris pair (3" male and 4" female.) It seems to have worked- finally they seem to be in the acceptance phase

Jim, you're probably right: if it can eat him, it likely will. My clowns sleep in place at night. They swim, but in place. If there were and angler they'd be gonners.

fordguy, have you thought about trying to see if you can trade them to an lfs? They might give you a little bit of credit, and sell them as a mated pair.

the best i can get is 35 for them. and he told me he realy didnt want them but he would take them for me. i fif i would try to sell them first before i went that route. i would realy like to trade them for some frogspawn or a torch.

I have a head of frogspawn to trade. I have been thinking of starting a anemone tank. I have a 20G long plumbed to my main tank, do you think they would be OK in this size tank?
