What actually is the problem with these little guys, everyone says theyr'e bad and gets rid of them...but what is bad about them?

They are considered a pest anemone because they can reproduce so quickly. Once they start reproducing like mad their numbers are hard to control and they'll sting and kill coral in their way. I've thought it might be cool to have a smaller tank without coral become populated with these... but haven't seen anyone do it. Most would rather have coral!

i have no problems keeping their numbers to small isolated areas and seem to me to be very easy to manage. just a pippette full o boiling water to the oral disk and its gone. i dont want to irradicate them as thats the only thing my naked clown would touch for a good bit and they are pretty. they realy arent any worse than my rbtas which have wipped out whole colonies while looking for a good home

Majanos are very mobile, so if you want to get rid of one (or just move it), cover it with a shell or something, so that it is very shaded but not trapped inside. It will then climb on top of whatever is shading it so that it will get closer to the light.

Then you just move whatever it is on top of and you are done! You don't have to worry about whether or not you killed it, and it's quick and easy to boot.
