Ok with all the genetically engineered creatures we have in this world how come they cant make one to eat these dang pests?
 :D

I just saw a thread saying these reproduce to not enough skimming I over skim my tank so I am pretty sure this isnt the case I am at a loss of what to do about them I hate to tear out all my live rock. They arent really bothering anything so I might just kill the ones that get where I dont want them and let them grow it seems though, everywhere I have bubble tips the bubbles kill them off. I am getting up in the upper 20s with bubble tips maybe they will do me a favor and keep killing them. They really dont look bad I do have to say I have a variety of different colored ones maybe I should give them some cool names and sell them an Ebay. LOL jk

It was nice seeing you man, I really hope that you do make it out to the next meeting.
In fact I let all the old timers know you'd be coming ;) and I told them that if you're a little late to just hang out and wait cause you said you'd be there, eventually
Oh and Aaron for the Majanos try some concentrated Kalkwasser paste, rolled up and placed right on the crown like a "Kalk BB" and watch it close up and die baby DIE!

Porky, it was great to see you and Michelle as well.
I don't think I can make 10,000 kalkwasser BB's...LOL
I will do my best to get to the meeting.

You just have to keep at them with all ya got.

Lincutis, the name reminds me of a fella who used to take part in our club functions. Nice guy, always looked forward to talking with him. Maybe he will be back someday.

I miss you guys too. Life has been a trip and many things have been neglected. Sorry you guys ended up on that list.

I pulled a good bit of my lps out and moved it to my 120 rimless. My 500 has mostly euphylia(sp) SPS, zoos and some leathers. The butterfly isn't messing with any of those, but It did devour a clam in the beginning.

I will eventually pull it out and repopulate my tank with the lps once I feel confident that they are all gone. I only see 1 or 2 here or there from time to time. I have also been moving other rocks into the tank for him to clean.

I have used Porky's kalk method on anything from mojanos from he11 to corals that were overgrowing their allotted tank space.

Best results (no accidental casualties) has been to have all the pumps off for 20 to 30 minutes while the kalk does its thing. If the offending item is melting away from the kalk application? I would siphon off those before firing the pumps back up so you don't have multiples appear from melting the original into numerous peices that can spread, heal and make the problem worse.
