Majanos

I have them and have been told that Kalkwasser paste fed to them kills them quickly. Other people swear by Joe's Juice. I am going to try the Kalk.

Yeah. But with tatoos and bad attitudes! (No offense to My tat-lovin' Biker Buddies..... Teena, Doc Peach, etc.)

Dont certain Butterfly fish eat things like that? Are they green or Brown? (I might have some too!)

copper band butterfly, pepermint shrimp, less feeding the tank and joes juice all four will help....notice the word help.

Dont waste your money buying the expensive bergia worms. I spent 150.00, saw them twice after that and still had the aiptasias. Memfish has some aiptasia control made by blue vet---alot cheaper than joe's juice works great. I like it better than joes juice much thicker, easier to use but you have to stay on top of them. If you see one hit it. Dont scrub them or try to cut them out.

I have joe's juice, it works, however I have to shut the pumps off for a time and it is a pain, I would like to find something to eat them.

I had an infestation of tulip anemones. I hoped that peppermint shrimp would eat them so I put 100 in. I think the shrimp ate each other because I only see two or three at night. They didn't seem to notice the tulips. I tried squirting them with vinegar. That seems to help and also seems to get the shrimp to notice them, probably because it "weakened them". Still I had tulips.

Whatever you do don't try a Klein's Butterfly. I did that next and he picked at SPS polyps constantly to the point they wouldn't extend. He never seemed to notice the tulips. I finally netted him out. He's in the sump jail now if anyone wants him.

I finally got some Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime (kalkwasser) from Wally World, mixed it to a slurry and squirted it onto them. Had to do 2 or 3 repeat treatments but that seems to have done the trick.

I can't say about the Majanos but I think the line between Aiptasia - Majanos - Tulips is very "fuzzy". What works for one should at least help with the others.

Kalk does work, just add enough water to make it into a paste. I use stop aptaisia at the moment. Cut off your filter and powerhead(s) for at least 30min. If it doesn't set on them it will not kill 'em.

Awright.... Is THIS what we're talkin' about????

If so, "Houston, we have a problem?"

What is this Brown stuff? It's not aiptasia. In the Center please:
