Love saltwater fishes...
Anyone can help me, I had a major leak in the tank all night. I woke up at 2 until now 7 and decided to convert a 55 gallons fresh water to salt water and moved my fresh water fish to a 10 gallons... it is a mess... what should I do to get the fresh water on? Can I use the same filter the bio(freshwater one? Is it going to kill all the salt water fish? what should I do? please help

wow I hope everything comes out ok.

drain the 10g out of the 55 then xfer to the 10.. then drain the rest of the water.

put clean salt water in the 55 and make sure the circulation is adequate.. the put the stuff in there.

i would put the fresh water filter on the 10g rescue tank and not run it on the sw 55.

I did it all wrong and I don't know what to do now. Right now I have my 55gl as a salt water with the biofilter that I had on the freshwater. My freshwater fishes, I am taking them to the store and given up on them. The salt water are still ok,but I know I need to figure it out fast because I have no skimmer in that tank.
I am just feeling sick and fisicaly sick as well. I am eather going to sale everything or try to fix the tank, but now I am so scared that I cannot sleep at night because I am afraid the water will flow everywhere.
Anyone have an idea of how to reseal a tank? the glass is not broken, so I guess it must have been the seal. Any sugestions? thanks

there's different resins you can use to seal tanks depending on how bad it is..is it one of the seams which is leaking?

yes it is in the seams, but I decided just to sell the tank and someone is coming over tonight to look at it. It has such a beautiful cabinet that I think he will love it.
I will keep my eyes open for another tank. I am just scared with this one.
Thanks for all your help.
