As far as the snails go, as long as they aren't Mexican Turbos, it sounds pretty good!
If we wait until next week, we may generate enough interest to make a whopper of an order.
I still have to check with the two folks I know who may be interested also.

Ok then, we could order from the Lot Prices sheet and get:
300 blueleg for $75
and
300 turbo (astrae, not mexican) for $102. Unfortunately, I think the astrae snails are the ones that can't turn themselves back over if upside down on a fine sand bed, BUT they make good grazers while they are alive :frog:. ......we wouldn't get any "bonus" shells though.
$75 + $102 = $178 + free shipping + the $30 that I'm going to spend on the redleg hermits. That puts us at $208 - 10%. So the total should be around $188 (?).
Subtract my extra $30 would equal $158. So $158 split 6 ways is about $27 for 50 hermits and 50 snails each. LOL, that doesn't sound right......

Also, I noticed that for this week, there is a "Free Stuff" special if a Wednesday or Thursday arrival is requested. It is too late for this week, but there may be a "Free Stuff" special for next week. We would probably have to order either Monday or Tuesday.

yea i just lost a huge turbo today that fell into the sand... couldn't turn himself over 
poor guy.. oh well the hermits ihave had a feast as did my coral banded shrimp (tearing chunks off the snail haha). but i dont want to get 50 snails and have most of them fall in my sand (i have more sand space than rock space.... ). does everyone want a lot of snails? i'd prefer the ones that love sand lol.
but so far this sounds good to me, and john, your math is correct... seems like a steal for 27 bucks... if we up it a little and get some other stuff, i'm willing to drop 40ish. I'd like to get a couple clowns but i dont think they have them do they? what else looks tempting on their site.... hmmm...

Joel, the next lot quantity to receive lot prices is 600. We either need 4 or 5 more people to reach the "600" level, or you can pick and choose from smaller lots. The smaller lots cost more, but you would still get free shipping and 10% discount.
Right now, it looks like we have 5 people with 6 orders of 50/50 (Right?).
Does anyone NOT want a full 50 snails and 50 hermits (split w/ Joel)?
