Tank lights have a UV component. Pucks are vulcanized rubber, which UV breaks down.
The major problem of people wanting to put decor into a tank is that a healthy oceanic environment quickly coats everything in pink or brown. Mostly pink, given a smooth surface. So it will rapidly become indistinguishable from rocks, except by its shape.
My advice would be to find a pretty little enameled metal team medallion, the sort you might use for a car, say, and velcro it to the bottom front glass.

Yes, but you would use acrylic and the special adhesive weld-on as silicone would not bond very well to acrylic. Also, if you do go this route expect to have a really hard time getting the puck back out should you want it.
Also as stated above you would need to constantly be removing it to clean the box or you would never see the puck anyways.
And the box itself will be covered in opaque pink that will have to be cleaned off, scarring the box.
You also have to be 100% sure the puck has not been treated in, sprayed or dunked in antimicrobial stuff...Figure skater here: sharing a facility with several hockey teams, I did observe that mold of all sorts does seem to be an ongoing battle in the locker room.
