Making mushrooms go "boom"

What's the best way to get mushroom anemones to start reproducing like crazy aside from fragging them? What's the rate of reproduction?

You can turn off your skimmer or feed more heavily, but it depends on the mushrooms and the system. I have a pretty clean system and they grow at a decent rate, some faster than others.

My blue green striped mushroom now a colony of 6 from the original 1 in 6 months time.
My red mushroom has only split once in 4 months.

They produce sexually right? So placing more near each other will have them grow more babies?

No they reproduce by themselves. The bigger they get they are likely to move position slightly and when they move , their foot slightly leaves a piece behind.that slowly grown ito its own shroom. You can also multiply them by cutting them through the middle. As long as each half gets a pice of the mouth it should heal fine.
