Zaita 50% Fish : 50% Human Jan 6, 2008 #3 I have heard the same. Apparently raising them takes a LONG time. Kinda like shrimps apparently. Something I am interested in as I have picked up a pair of Scopas Tangs and if they spawn I'd be keen to give it a go.

"Umm fish?" Premium Member Jan 6, 2008 #4 They've spawned in captivity, but from what I know only in really large tanks (like aquariums). The larvae spend a long time in the plankton.
