I think I remember reading somewhere that a male clown can lose a bar or something like that? I have had a pair of GB maroons for the last two years and the male's rear bar has changed. It was a solid typical gold bar with white border. Now right where the tail fin meets the "torso", the bar has disappeared. the bar is still there on the top and bottom of the fish but not right in the middle. Both the top and bottom bars are also fully bordered by a thin white stripe. Is this something that usually happens? It doesn't look unhealthy or like there was any trauma or anything, just like the bar kind of changed...
