Malu vs Condy ID differences / tips

Guys,

Any easy ways to distinguish between a condy and a malu? Bought a malu today and want to make sure that's really what I got. I will try to post photos later but any tips in meantime would be appreciated.

You mean betweena crispa and a malu? Because a condy and malu are not even remotely similar in appearance.

Thanks for the quick replies even if it confirms my fears. Are any tell tale signs that I can use when I go back to my LFS to avoid a debate on their claim that it is a malu?

Also, is it ok if I leave it in the bag overnight? Not floating but sunk to the bottom but still in bag so I can easily bring bag to LFS tomorrow? Otherwise I'm concerned that it will scurry into the deepest recess of the tank and make recapture a bit difficult

Condys and malus cost the same in Ireland so am thinking about keeping it - just disappointed it was mis-sold but I know there were no bad intentions from the LFS
