Manado Live Rock Cured

Hi Guys, How is the stock looking like on the Manado Rock and is the Fiji Rock still boulder shape?

We are extremely low on Manado cured right now, only about 100lbs left and it's all small pieces. We do have 1000lbs of Manado arriving tonight, but it will be all uncured rock. Give us about two weeks to have it fully cured if that's what you're wanting.

The Fiji has been coming in better, but it's still nothing compared to the Manado or Bali.

Hi,

I'm going to be setting up a DSB following Ron Shimeck's advice re grain size. Can you tell me what the approximate grain size is on your live sand (e.g., is it super fine oolitic, Aragamax Sand, larger grains or mixed)?

Our cultured live sand is a mix of fine oolitic, all the way up to some Tropic Eden Reeflake. I'm assuming you're looking at our live to just seed with? Also, if you're going fine grain (sugar size), then I'd suggest getting some of our rock pool bottom crude to seed your bed with, you'll be impressed at the amount of life you get out of it. HTH!
