Mangroves in Refugium

Has anyone tried to use a planted Mangrove in their refugium? I was reading about it a little on www.garf.org and seemed pretty interesting. Just checking to see if anyone had any input.

If you want it for nutrient export you either need alot of small ones or a very mature plant that would take up quite a bit of room. Cheato is a better export. They look nice though. Here's one I got at MACNA last year.

That's beautiful. I'm not sure if I'd like to try that at the moment. I'm just slowly getting back into the groove of everything, and trying to pick up as much new things as I can. Love to learn.
