Mantis and Jellies?

I am in the process of setting up a small tank for a soon to be arriving n. wennerae. The only problem so far is that there are these little hitchhiker jellyfish that seem to be thriving in my tank. Will they cause a problem with the mantis? my hermits seem to be doing fine, and if they do cause a problem, how do I get rid of them. The darn hydras are popping up all over...

Ill see about getting some pictures...

Thanks
Frank

Re: Mantis and Jellies?

I want to see pics to make sure they aren't enonomes instead of jellyfish......

If they are jellyfish many LFS will pay $$ for them.

they could be caseopea, upsidedown jellyfish if the rock was from FL, but i dont think theyed thrive. They are most likly embriotic anemones.

they definetely swim like jellies and move all over the tank. including the tentacles, the largest are about the size of a grain of rice. Ive found pictures of them, but all were in bmp or jpeg format, ill look for more picts to post
