Mantis and Sea Cucumber?

Predictions on how this sea cucumber will do in a tank with a mantis?
(specifically G. Smithii, O. scyllarus or G. graphurus)


Typically stays at top of the tank stuck to the glass.

considering they are pretty much the same...

i have two lettuce nudis in the mantis tank and he doesnt seem to care.

If the mantis whacks the cuc hard enough or hurts it, you could be in for some serious toxins though... If you go with a small species it would probably be ok, but I think itll just depend on how the mantis' personality is.

Maybe a better question would be how will your mantis fair if the sea cucumber dies (with or without help from the mantis)?

I wouldn't risk it, personally.

Only safe cucumber is a tiger tail. Not worth the risk IMO

i have the same sea cucumber in with my peacock mantis, it's been about a month now. never even goes near it or shows any interest in it

Does it just hang up top all the time like mine?
Got him to add some color, but he is always just stuck to the top of the tank, atleast hes not in the same corner as the snails
