6th Avenue has 2 mantis currently, one of which I believe to be a G. chiraga, the other a G. g;abrous. This is based on Dr Roy's page/Haplochlaena's ID (One of Dr. Roy's colleagues, who posts on Grimreefers). These came in on the same shipment as my most recentG. chiraga, and my G. glabrous. On the G. glabrous:I have one already, and she is very feisty and active.
In fact, I was in the store last night, and I made the manager pull them out so that I could get a better look at them. This gave him a chance to clean their little critter-keeper's anyway, since the kid that does it is a little wary of them. Both are a medium green in color. The little chiraga whacked me throug the critter-keeper. Hurt like someone had smacked me with a tiny ballpeen hammer.
I am not sure if they ship.
I will try and get some shots of them.
Both are in the 20 dollar range.
