Diver & Reef Aquarium Nut
Hello Everyone,
Last year in the June timeframe my wife and I discovered we had obtained a Mantis Shrimp with some live rock we had gotten. It was literally about half the size of a grain of rice. We were able to capture him and my daughter decided she wanted him in her nano. Well, my daughter is now pushing 18 with life becoming more and more involved for her. She is considering shutting down her nano. The only challenge we have is finding a new home for the mantis. He's really cool. He's a green color, about an 1 1/4- 1 1/2 inches long and takes food from us with no problem. He has tunneled a home in a piece of live rock and is continually excavating. He hasn't messed with any of her fish, yet, and from what we can tell none of inverts, yet.
Just putting out a feeler to see if anyone would be interested in adopting the little guy. We would keep him but right now don't want to keep two tanks. We'll actually miss him, we've raised him from the size of a very small copepod.
