There is a thing in my live rock that has eye stalks and it spends all day in its hole sticking its eyes out. Every now and then it will pop out and then back in real fast. It is greyish-brown with a white band around its 'neck', about 1/8 inch wide and 1/2 inch long. It's too small to do any damage to my fish, but if it is a mantis, I'd like to know. I've not seen a picture on the internet that looks like it.
