Mantis Trap

Hi: I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the X- Terminator trap for catching mantis shrimp in a reef tank? Is raw shrimp the best bait to use? I need to get the mantis out of my tank! I have yet to see him! I hear the clicking and am losing hermit crabs. Wish I new were he is hiding! Any help would be great. Thanks Steve

Rots of Ruck. I tried one of those, but no luck. A better plan is to figure out which rock he is using for a den and remove it, and flush it with carbonated fresh water. If there is a Mantis in your tank you will see him eventually.
