Got the stand all dressed up. However, I am not finished. There some equipment I still need to buy. Gonna get some Seio's as I posted earlier and a much bigger skimmer later. Hard to tell just how big this thing is by looking at the pictures, it's huge, or better...it's my dream tank. I love this thing. For now, enjoy the pics. Let me know what you guys think. The stain is an antique walnut. Everything has been done by yours truly so far. Well...except carrying the tank in, lol.

If you feed a fish right it will get to it's actual size in any aquarium, don't believe that old tale about tank size affecting growth. It only affects it because we are less likely to feed larger amounts of food in smaller tanks so in small tanks fish tend to get underfed and thus their growth and life span is affected.

Wow. Lookin' good! I'm thinkin' you are about ready for my Sailfin ... He'll be soooo happy. I'll be happy to deliver; I'd love to see your other tanks. How do you get anything done other than water changes?

That's the part about this hobby. You have to love everything about it, lol. I usually take a day on the weekend to do maintenance to all of my tanks. I stay pretty busy through the week. One of my tanks (the 55g) is at my office, so I can keep that one up while I am at work. As for the planted FW tank, there is not a whole lot to do as far as maintenance goes. The plants keep the algae away, just feed the fish and change the filter pads is all on that one.

Joyski - I'll PM you on the sailfin.
