map puffer

I recently got my hands on a 1-2 inch map puffer. He's very skinny, won't eat... haven't seen him move in the tank. He came from a tank where he got bit by a huge golden puffer. I know he's scared but is there anything anyone can recommend?

It will just take time for him to realize he's not going to be attacked again. Just keep offering food. What have you tried so far?

try live foods like ghost shrimp to provoke him to eat. Try frozen clams, shrimp, scallop etc... he should come around. Mappas are very shy fish.

once a mappa is weak they do not make it like zemuron said live food
