marbled catshark

Hi this is my first time on this site. I have a 300 gallon aquarium and would love to have a marbled cat shark (Atelomycterus macleayi). Thanks

What are the dimensions of the tank? Others will disagree with me but I feel Atelomycterus ssp. need bigger quarters than larger bamboo and epaulette sharks. I'd recommend the small PNG species of the latter, or if the footprint of your tank is big enough, the common species, which is cooler to keep anyway.

If it six by three your fine I do agree they need more room than epps or bamboos ey swim more I think at least I used to have one in my old 180 before I cracked

I agree with helicoprion's thoughts on eppies. Though I think we are the minority.

Side note: helicoprion, I had the Aussie order filled and then the sharks were sold as I lined up transhipping. I couldn't afford where they went, 990 euros each plus half that in shipping put an end to it. So bummed.

my tank is 96 by 30 by 24
