March 11th TBRC Meeting

Welcome to our March monthly meeting. This month's meeting will be in Palm Harbor and Mark Straley(Snookster here on RC) will be hosting. We arrive at 6pm. Please come join us. Remember to bring something to share with folks to eat and that you do not need to be a current member to attend our meetings. The club will provide drinks(soda, water) for the group. We're working on a Education Speaker and will know more info about that in the next week. This is a great opportunity to discuss your own reef keeping interests and talk to other members about what they are doing as well.

Address: 256 Millstone Dr, Palm Harbor, 34683

We are excited to welcome guest presenter Tim Lyons at the March meeting! Tim is a student researcher at USF Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory in Ruskin, FL. His presentation will concentrate on the numerous exotic and invasive marine species of Florida, how they came to be introduced, the impacts of these species, and responsible reef-keeping practices. He also researches dwarf and fuzzy lionfish husbandry (now that Pterois spp. imports are banned)!

We are grateful to Tim for volunteering his time to present! Don't forget we will also have the monthly member raffle AND will be tallying attendance for the new BONUS raffle held at the end of the year! See you there! :fish1::fish1::fish1:

A couple more pics from our presenter!

Looking forward to hosting. Parking is available on the street, but my street is a tad narrower than normal, so please pay attention to making sure my neighbors can get through. It's probably best to try to park on the same side as everyone else.
