Club Meeting Details:

March 17th @ 6 pm
Logan's Roadhouse
604 Carriage House Drive,

Topic: Raising Live Food for the Reef

  • Frag of Cabbage Leather to give away
  • Prize give away - winner picks from an assortment of dry goods
  • $25 Fishy Business Gift Certificate drawing
  • Free Live Brine Shrimp (available to club members who request ahead of time)

Mark it on your calendars. We will talk about raising live foods. Fresh live food is great to occasionally feed the reef, but it is necessary if you are raising marine fish. We have a club member that has raised live food when breeding Cardinals. I hope David is up for sharing some information with the group. :) I will raise some batches of brine shrimp to give out to members at the meeting. You just need to let me know in this thread you want me to bring you some so I make sure to make enough and package them up. After our topic discussion, everyone can talk reef among the other fellow hobbyist.

You have seen the post of dry goods, so we will give at least one of those away. I may give out more depending on how many we have attending. There will at least be one coral frag given away along with a gift certificate.

Please post in this thread if you plan to attend and how many people you are bringing. You can bring all you want, but I am just trying to get a general count ahead of time so we can reserve enough space in advance. Also post your request to pick up your brine shrimp at this meeting I know I'm posting this early, but it gives you all time to plan. ;)

Take care,
Tech Diver

Looks like we are up to a head count of 16, so we will definitely need our own room there. I'll have to see if I can book it this week.

Markus, can you bring me some brine shrimp? thanks
I am planning to take a pink acropora frag for door prize if anybody is interested

There is a baby shower scheduled in our room at Logan's at 4pm, so they may have it past 6pm. You never know. I wanted to let you all know that you can wait until 6:30 or you can eat some peanuts and talk reef with some fellow hobbyist until our room is ready.

Take care,
Tech Diver

It looks like the group before us has to be out by 6pm, but then they will be cleaning the room up for us. That is why it may take until 6:30 for us to be seated in our room. See you all tonight. I have some Selcon nourished artemia to give away. See you all tonight.
