March Meeting

Marybeth, you can totally bring your boyfriend. Plenty of people bring spouses/SOs to the reef club meetings. My husband ususally goes even though he's not super into reef stuff.

OK so I decided on a picinc themed reef meeting. So I will provide things like burgers and hotdogs to grill out. You guys can bring sides and desserts. Does that sound good?

Sorry it's taken me so long but I have been racking my brain to come up with something easy since I think I am gonna be out of town til that morning.

OK? What sides do you guys want to bring?

YEH, lets talk FOOD!!!!
That sounds GREAT! And easy, I love burgers on the grill. How about baked beans?? My wife makes killer baked beans. Sound good? Or something else??

Sure Patrick. That sounds totally picnic-ish (not that you'd get vetoed if it didn't, we don't turn down food).

Now Zack, you taunted me with your mom's potato salad once before and did not come through. Don't disappoint me again there buddy. hah hah.

I think we are planning on coming up that Saturday, so we will likely come straight to your house. See you Saturday, mel:).

Mel,
Marybeth here, future new member, I will bring something sweet to the meeting. If anyone has any suggestions on what they would like, let me know

Mary

If it's sweet I doubt it will go uneaten. hah hah. cake, cookies, a pie or whatever you want to make. Cookies usually go over well. Cobbler always goes over well too. Whatever floats your boat!

The club website has been updated with directions. I'll modify the member lists tonight or tomorrow to bring them up to speed.

Just wanted to say thank you to Mel and her husband for being great hosts and having everyone in their home. It was nice to meet everyone and I had a great time. Mel your tank is beautiful!! And that seems to be one happy fat tang!! Thank you for the great frags...all of them are starting to open up nicely.

If I wanted to put East TN reef club under my name how would I do that?

Thanks again for the hospitality!

hey guys. Sorry I missed the meeting. Im sure I missed some great stuff. I will definitely be at the next one. By then I hope to actually have something to talk about. I think my tank is almost "cycled"

Mary

Thanks to Mel and Brent for hosting the meeting. Picnic food was great. I think it was a good turnout, and nice of the gflat's to join us :)

The tank looked great as always, and a poster-tank for calcium reactors!

Julie, Banana bread is already gone (good stuff--I took some home!) ;)

That's funny about the banana bread. I never even got one slice because I was running around so much. hah hah. I am sure you Carberrys enjoyed it though.

No problem about the meeting! Thanks for coming everyone. It was a really great turn out and it was awesome to see so many new people back and even newer ones there! I think it went well.
