So carlos got the clam then ended up giving it to me. It was looking great, fully open then I went to sleep the next moring with the lights out I looked at the clam and found 2 big long bristle worms had went to town on it a cleaned it out. Tried to pull them out to no avail. Did a bunch of research come to find out the bristle worms will only eat clams that are on their way to the big ocean in the sky.

What a bummer! Seems like a healthy clam would just close up and BW would have to eat somewhere else.
