march meeting

Given the newness of my tanks - I won't be bringing any frags to this meet. Instead, is there something else I can bring to help out? Chips, beer, hotdogs, etc? Please let me know.

Thank you for posting list. I was already kicking myself for not snaping a photo of that list. Fun meet today. Thank you Robert for hosting again and thank you BOD for bringing in some nice pieces.

Your welcome I always love opening my home to fellow reef nerds like me I was very pleased of the your reef order. I personally called john the owner of your reef after everyone left and had a nice long conversation with how pleased we were and he was asking how we run our raffles he seemed impressed. For those who have not been to he's store if your ever in the sac. Area it a must see.

Thank you Robert for hosting! Great time as usual and with new faces! Look forward to having a full meeting with all members. Great job BOD for the corals brought in from our local vendors also!

Yes thank you very much Robert. And thank you for thanking john the frags look awesome already. I look forward to them growing so I can give back to this great group of people.

Thanks Robert for hosting and BOD for the above average frags. Good to see everyone. Those who couldn't make it missed out on some fun and nice corals.

In hindsight, we should have gone for a club picture (we should really be doing this every meeting and updating our FB page with it).

I would like to be able to learn everyone's name and RC handle. What do people think about possibly wearing name tags? I'm not wild about it, but it would facilitate associating names and faces.

Speaking of identifying things, IMHO, some of the frags from members could have been better labeled. We talked about name of coral, basic type of coral (lps, sps, etc), difficulty level and name of donating reefer in case of questions.

Robert, thanks for hosting. It was a great raffle. I think everyone went home with at least three corals!

I second Reef Bass's (aka, Ken) suggestions for name tags and coral labeling.

Thirded. I ended up trying to rebuild a matrix of folks I met against their handles here. I only have 8 that I know are right.

Speaking of, who provided the large chunk of palys with the red lid? They looked brown but are a very nice, large, active green polyps with some brown fringes. I know they are considered a bit weedy but I really like them in my tank.
