March nTOTM ez's Aquapod 24 now Solana (from October 07)

Thank you everyone!
emerald- the acans are kept in the shade and seem to do just fine there. i hardly pay attention to them :)

the skimmer is hooked up to take water from the display, and return in the first chamber. the output was sawed to fit, otherwise the water would return in the display as well. i'm sorry i do not have a picture.

Maybe a silly question, but...looks like a few of your clams are on your rock. Do they try to attach their feet (or whatever the correct word) to the rock?Mine like to grab rubble and things from the sand bed.

that is a good question...
the 250 is very hot, and a lot of my montis are starting to bleach from the intense light.
my acros and clams on the other hand love it and are soaking up all the extra light.

SKimmer pics please!! I just bought an 24 gallon Aquapod, and we are looking into which skimmer to use on it.

Wow! Sweeeet tank EZ! 250 watts of light? That's alot of light! Did you try 150 watts first, and if so, were the acros and clams showing signs of wanting/needing more light? The reason I ask is we want to try similar critters with 28gal 150W 14K.

Again, big ups for the tank EZ. Thank you. -Trey

dynaschm0e - some acros weren't coloring up like i wanted them to, and i definitely knew the clams would be happier with 100 more watts. thank you for the compliments!

ibassifish - are you looking for skimmer pics or set up pics?
