Marco Rocks?

Does anyone know if I were to buy Marco Rocks, what do I have to do with them to get them ready for newly set up saltwater system? Would they take longer to cycle and do I have special things to do to them BEFORE they can be put into a tank? How long of a cycle am I looking at with these rocks vs live rock?

You buy Marcorocks from www.marcorocks.com

They are beautiful rocks however you need some work to prepare them for your tank. I am cooking 160 lb of Marcorocks at the moment , if you are interested look at my thread where I am documenting the process (click on the red house above this post)

i have 200+ pounds. i rinsed them in salt water a couple times and and did multiple water tests to see if phosphates, carbinates/alk or nitrates leeched out and nothing leeched out. i did a couple rinses them cycled the rocks with some cured rocks from my established tank and biological additives(probidio is awesome). worked fine for me.
I have seen and heard of people rinsing many times with vinegar and muriatic acid(dangerous).
I'm not saying whats best to do, just what i did.

Assuming you're talking about their dead rocks. Put it in a tub with some live rock and wait until it's cycled.
If your rocks are part of a new setup, than drop it in your tank with live rocks and let it cycle.

Dean were yours Marcorocks or EchoRocks by Bulk Reef Supply?
I have Marco's "precured" version of fiji rocks curing in saltwater and I am measuring PO4 at 1 mg/l. The saltwater mix has 0 PO4.

Thank you all for the input! Yes, they will be going into a brand new setup so there will be no inhabitants. So I can just add the rock and a shrimp and wait, correct?
