My tank has a few SPS frags and I would like get a couple of Maricultured frags/colony's....

From what I've read is they like a lot of flow/light.

I currently have for light 150W Metal halide 10k
2x 18w T5s 1x daylight, 1x fluorescent

What do ya'll think?

Thanks,

Charley

Your lighting seems good... what about your other parameters (Ca, Alk, N03)? If you have SPS frags that are doing well, then taking the next step is logical. However, maricultured pieces are likely to be less forgiving then frags you have gotten from other reefers that were in estabished systems. I'd check carefully for pests and dip prior to placing in your system, place on the sand bed to begin with, then do your research to find what species likes relatively higher flow and light versus moderate flow and light, and then move them up over time.

My levels are good. I just started auto dosing I plan on waiting a little while before I start with Maricultured. Because I want to make sure I have my dosing right. I also find it difficult to dose because most of my tank is LPS. And they don't seem to consume a whole lot of Cal, Alk, Mag.

My levels are

Cal:390
Alk:9 DKH
Mag. 1300
PH: 8.1
Nitrates: 0
Phosphates(Don't check but I have no algae problems)

I plan on raising my Mag and Cal up a tad.
